Hockley and the Lace Market
Red-brick warehouses full of cocktail bars and late spots, close to the centre and easy to wander.

Nottingham and Nottinghamshire
Robin Hood stole from the rich. You'll steal a kiss in the Lace Market.
Nottingham is known for its nights out, from the cocktail bars of Hockley to clubs packed with students from two universities, and a no-strings date fits right in. Nearly three in ten Casual.uk members in Nottinghamshire are women, and the crowd is young: more than four in ten are under 35, with most of the rest between 35 and 54. Just over half the county's members, women included, are on Naughty, our raunchier section, so it's worth a profile there too.
For something a little different, MILF Casual is the section for confident older women and the men who want them.

With the city doing most of the work, a central first meet is the obvious choice, and Nottinghamshire casual dating mostly means a night in town.
The NET tram helps tie it together. Lines run from the station and the Old Market Square to Hucknall, Phoenix Park, Clifton, and through Beeston to Toton Lane, so a lot of the county is a tram ride from the centre.

Twenty-five to 44 is the core of it, with those two decades together making up more than six in ten of the county's members, split evenly between them. Fewer than one in ten are over 55.
Somewhere to start
Nottingham is built on sandstone riddled with caves, and some of its oldest pubs are carved into the rock.
Red-brick warehouses full of cocktail bars and late spots, close to the centre and easy to wander.
Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem, set into the castle rock, is a famous old pub with nooks that suit a quiet first drink.
The city's oldest public park, hilly and leafy, near the Forest Recreation Ground.
A riverside walk along the Trent, across the water from West Bridgford, quiet on a weekday evening.
A Nottingham classic for a first daytime meet: walk the deer park around Wollaton Hall, then head down to Beeston's high street for a pint. It's relaxed, it's outdoors, and it gets you away from the city centre crowd. If the weather turns, Sherwood's Mansfield Road has pubs and cafés to duck into.
Football rivalry runs deep here, with Forest on one bank of the Trent and Notts County on the other, so it makes a good opener if you're both fans and is best avoided if you're not. Match days fill the pubs around the City Ground and Meadow Lane, so plan a first meet elsewhere on those afternoons. For a coffee instead of a pint, Hockley's independent cafés and the streets around Sneinton Market are calmer bets, and it's an easy walk between the two.
Nearly three in ten of our Nottinghamshire members are women, and just over half of them are on the Naughty section.
Yes. Both appear in the county's member data, and your matches weigh distance, so the nearest profiles come up whichever end of Notts you're in.
