Join to say hiLiverpool is famous for it. People chat at the bus stop, in the queue, at the bar, and that easy warmth is exactly what Merseyside casual dating runs on. Bring it to your first message: a cheeky line about the football or the weather beats a bland "hi" every time, and a laugh is the quickest route to a drink, and sometimes a good deal more.
Just over half the Merseyside profiles say Liverpool. Wallasey and Birkenhead bring the Wirral into it, and Crosby, Kirkby, Fazakerley and Newton are on the list too. More than half of Merseyside's members are here on the main site rather than on Naughty, so this is the place to start.
Shares of Casual.uk members in Merseyside, across every section, from member records, October 2026.
Merseyside has one of the most even age spreads of any area we cover. No age band between 18 and 54 holds much more than a quarter of members, and more than one in six is 55 or over, a higher share than almost anywhere else we cover. Nearly three in ten members are women, and half of them are on Naughty. If you're over 40, the Mature section is worth joining alongside your main profile.
Where to meet
Liverpool does relaxed better than most. Pick the mood, then pick the street.
Bohemian bars and bistros by the park gates, then a wander round the lake or up to the Palm House.
Cafés, cocktail bars and late food, all a short walk from Central station.
Warehouses turned into bars and food halls, popular with a younger crowd and good for a casual first look.
The Albert Dock and the walk along to the Pier Head. Busy by day, beautiful once the lights come on.
Wallasey and Birkenhead both turn up in the member data, and the rest of the Wirral is only minutes further on. Don't let the river put you off. The Wirral line of Merseyrail runs under the Mersey into the city loop in minutes, and the Mersey Ferry makes the trip in style if you fancy a crossing with a view. For a Wirral-side meet, New Brighton's prom or a walk along the shore at West Kirby are lovely on a clear evening.
On the city side, Merseyrail's Northern line links Southport, Formby and Crosby with Liverpool Central. Crosby beach, with Antony Gormley's iron figures staring out to sea, is a memorable walk if you'd rather skip the bar altogether.
Matchdays change the city. When Liverpool are at home at Anfield, or Everton at their new stadium on Bramley-Moore Dock, the pubs nearby fill up fast, so keep a first drink on those afternoons to Lark Lane, the Wirral or anywhere well away from the ground. Pick a quiet midweek evening instead and you'll have the Georgian Quarter around Hope Street almost to yourselves.
Yes. More than one in six of our Merseyside members is 55 or over, one of the highest shares of any area we cover, and the Mature section is there for anyone over 40.
It does. Wallasey and Birkenhead both appear in the Merseyside member data, and because matches weigh distance, Wirral profiles come up for anyone nearby.
